Each mermaid pendant is wire-woven to a shell collected on the beaches of the BC Comox Valley by the artist. Each piece is unique as no two weaves or shells are exactly the same. Shells are cleaned by hand and selected for their color, shape and size to fit within the mermaid. Using high quality copper-core, plated wire, the mermaid is a lead-free and cadmium-free metal alloy.
